Job Description

Astound Broadband is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager of Direct Sales based out of Corpus Christi, Texas, and the surrounding territories. This hybrid role involves working two days per week in the office with the flexibility to work from a home office, the field, or other nearby Astound locations. The role offers the exciting opportunity to earn a base salary of $75,000 with an uncapped commission plan that has the potential for total earnings exceeding $140,000 annually. The Regional Manager will lead and cultivate a strong residential sales team, focusing on new incremental customer relationships through direct, door-to-door engagement in single-family and multi-dwelling unit markets.
This position is integral to Astound's growth strategy, tasked with sourcing, training, and deploying effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and customer acquisition goals. The manager will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of Direct Sales Representatives, ensuring they have the latest knowledge on pricing, product offerings, and service processes. Acting as a subject matter expert, the Regional Manager will utilize various sales channel systems and tools, including billing systems, reporting structures, and CRM software, to enhance team performance and customer experience.
The Regional Manager will conduct regular team meetings, provide one-on-one coaching, and deliver field ride-alongs to monitor productivity and maintain performance standards. They will collaborate across regional teams to develop new incentives and recognition programs and work closely with recruiting to manage staffing and interviews. Community engagement is also a vital part of the role, with responsibilities including participation in local events and sponsorships to promote Astound's brand and foster strong local partnerships with property managers and leasing agents.
Ensuring adherence to company safety standards and relevant regulations such as OSHA and the National Electric Safety Code is critical. The successful candidate will display strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. This role requires a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Job Requirements
- College degree or high school diploma or equivalent
- Equivalent combination of education and sales experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in management
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications direct sales or face-to-face sales
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Proficient with MS Office
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in management
- Basic knowledge and aptitude in telecommunications direct sales or face-to-face sales
- Knowledge of the cable industry, local communities, customers, and staff
- Proven track record of exceeding sales team performance expectations

Job Duties
- Lead day-to-day activities of a team of Direct Sales Representatives focusing on single family and multi-dwelling unit markets
- Demonstrate knowledge of pricing, product changes, and service processes
- Be a subject matter expert on sales channel systems and tools including billing systems and CRM
- Provide regular updates and conduct weekly team meetings
- Monitor team performance against bi-weekly and monthly sales targets
- Conduct one-on-one coaching and field ride-alongs to document productivity
- Collaborate with regional counterparts to develop sales incentives and recognition
- Manage headcount and partner with recruiting for sourcing and interviewing candidates
- Develop positive relationships within local communities through events and sponsorships
- Ensure team maintains professional appearance and customer interaction standards
- Support and manage multi-unit dwelling customer relationships
- Follow company safety standards and applicable OSHA and National Electric Safety Code regulations
