The role of Manager, Premium at Anheuser-Busch represents a critical local market leadership position focused on field execution as the essential link between premium field programs and wholesale partners. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Director, this role is responsible for overseeing execution of high-end and beyond beer brands at the local market level, helping to drive sales growth, trial, and market presence within assigned geographic regions. This role requires working closely with wholesale partners to develop market-specific objectives and effectively implement field sales programs. The Manager, Premium will spend 3-4 days per week actively engaged in the market alongside their respective wholesaler teams, driving key initiatives on-premise, off-premise, and in retail locations, while dedicating one day per week to planning and coordinating activities from a home office. This position carries a competitive salary range of $104,800 to $124,450, complemented by bonus and long-term incentive opportunities.

Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with wholesaler management and regional teams, facilitate efficient communication and collaboration between commercial teams and distributors, and provide actionable market insights to support overall commercial strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of marketing or sales experience in the beverage or alcohol industry, two or more years managing wholesaler relationships, and demonstrated success in driving sales growth through strategic execution and collaboration. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is highly preferred. Certifications such as Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone are a plus. Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, concentration in business administration, management or similar field preferred
- 5+ years of sales or marketing experience in beverage/alcohol industry preferred
- 2+ years of wholesaler management experience

Job Duties
- Builds relationship with wholesaler management and region teams
- leverages the AOE program within assigned territory for high end brands
- manages High End Elite Club, if applicable, in assigned territory, and supports Anheuser Busch mega brands such as Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, Cutwater Spirits and Budweiser
- executes EDGE, IRIS and BEES as key enabler programs for high end brand execution
- leverages local incentives and local programming initiatives to drive execution
- identifies market opportunities and presents high end performance with commercial team as well as actionable insights during monthly WPPM
- effectively coordinates and communicates with commercial team, distributors, and CSO to facilitate effective development and execution of programs and business initiatives
- establishes distribution, display, feature ad, retail promotion, and space management objectives with CSO team that produce effective presentation of brands at the point of purchase and through field sales programs
- communicates information to management with recommendations to contribute to brand development, sales growth, and distributor effectiveness
- manages specific operating systems and standards for ordering and inventory management, quality control, selling and merchandising objectives and standards, program execution guidelines, pricing and discount management, and POS material utilization
- identifies leads, manages prospects, acquires new business and grows points of distribution
- owns the execution and sales results of high end field programs in the sales territory and acts on market opportunities
- participates in wholesaler trade and S&OP routines to ensure forecasting accuracy and wholesaler POCM orders meet market needs
