Job Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington is seeking a Portland Houses Manager to ensure the most welcoming and hospitable guest services at the Portland Ronald McDonald Houses. This role involves coordinating guest arrival and registration activities, overseeing front desk operations, training and scheduling staff, caring for volunteers, and maintaining exemplary service for guest families while upholding RMHC's values and compassionate hospitality principles.
Job Requirements
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-service oriented with a passion for creating a Trauma-Informed Care environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and across departments
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable managing shifting priorities
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
