Deloitte is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and oversee Olympics and Paralympics sponsorship activations, specifically focusing on maximizing the impact of Deloitte's partnerships for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class team that is driving Deloitte's visibility and engagement at one of the largest global sporting events. The role entails managing end-to-end marketing, on-site experiences, and engagement plans across multiple stakeholder groups to deliver cohesive, compelling brand experiences.

As a Project Manager on the Brand, Marketing & Communications team, the successful candidate will support the development and execution of comprehensive sponsorship activations, including marketing campaigns, hospitality programs, client and guest experiences across various channels such as digital, print, paid, and social media. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, tracking critical paths, managing milestones, and mitigating risks to ensure initiatives remain on schedule. The role also involves coordinating meetings, communications, and deliverables with both internal stakeholders and external agency partners to maintain alignment and effective collaboration.

Additionally, the Project Manager will assist with approvals and compliance processes, ensuring that all activities adhere to Deloitte's brand guidelines, legal and risk standards, and any external rights-holder requirements. Managing project financials, creating presentation materials, and maintaining communications libraries are also vital components of the role, supporting successful program execution and reporting.

This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented with a strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. The candidate must be adept at building and sustaining professional relationships and comfortable leading projects or workstreams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Deloitte offers a competitive salary range of approximately $93,000 to $191,000, reflecting experience, skills, and business needs. Candidates may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program based on performance. This role's employment is under Deloitte Services LP, associated with an anticipated multi-year business need linked to the Sports SGM investment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7 plus years of project management or marketing activation experience
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion

Job Qualifications

  • 7 plus years of experience leading cross-functional project management program management or marketing activation initiatives
  • Experience developing and managing project plans milestones risk tracking and status reporting for complex initiatives
  • Experience managing internal stakeholders external stakeholders and agency partners across multiple workstreams
  • Experience supporting sponsorship activations hospitality programs brand campaigns or large-scale event marketing initiatives
  • Experience supporting approval processes involving legal compliance brand or rights-management requirements
  • Ability to travel 10 percent on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
  • Experience in B2B sponsorship activation preferred
  • Experience supporting Olympic and Paralympic sponsorships the Olympic and Paralympic Movement or major event operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Supporting the development and execution of Olympic and Paralympic sponsorship activations including marketing hospitality client and guest experiences across digital print paid and social media channels
  • Developing project plans tracking critical paths managing milestones and monitoring risks to keep initiatives on schedule
  • Coordinating meetings and communications with internal stakeholders external stakeholders and agency partners including agendas materials notes and action items
  • Supporting approvals and compliance processes involving brand legal risk and external rights-holder requirements
  • Managing project financial tracking presentation materials and communications libraries to support program execution and reporting
  • Facilitating timely and accurate communication and flow of information among leadership and key stakeholders developing executive level presentations
  • Assisting with approval processes including Olympic approvals system ensuring compliance with Deloitte's risk brand guidelines and external partner requirements
