The Planning Manager role is integral to the success of the newly acquired Ready-to-Eat brand Factor_, where you will oversee forecasting, planning, and master scheduling responsibilities for the network of manufacturing and fulfillment centers. HelloFresh operates in a high-growth environment where efficient operations and seamless delivery to customers are crucial. The Planning Manager leads end-to-end production planning for U.S. distribution centers, addressing daily operational risks, executing analytical problem-solving, and driving improvements in key performance indicators.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, mathematics, supply chain, finance, or related field with 3-5 years relevant experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, replenishment planning, demand planning or materials management OR associate degree with 5 to 10 years relevant experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, replenishment planning, demand planning or materials management
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands on time
- Organizational, project management skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning or related positions that require cross-functional collaboration and data analysis to influence stakeholders
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Own and manage weekly/monthly production and fulfillment and capacity plans using systems and processes that support the organization’s goals
- Track progress to and deviations from the plan, drive problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity
- Assess and identify potential operational risks
- lead the discussion of risks and plan changes with other key business stakeholders such as Procurement, Logistics, HR and Operations leaders
- Utilize production and fulfillment planning tools and track performance to ensure the successful execution of production plans
- Take on projects to drive the continuous improvement of planning tools and processes and complete them on schedule
- Lead or participate on special projects as required
