The Planning Manager role is integral to the success of the newly acquired Ready-to-Eat brand Factor_, where you will oversee forecasting, planning, and master scheduling responsibilities for the network of manufacturing and fulfillment centers. HelloFresh operates in a high-growth environment where efficient operations and seamless delivery to customers are crucial. The Planning Manager leads end-to-end production planning for U.S. distribution centers, addressing daily operational risks, executing analytical problem-solving, and driving improvements in key performance indicators.

This position demands a thoughtful leader with exceptional analytical abilities, deep dive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and executive presence. The successful candidate will be a collaborative partner working cross-functionally with other business leaders across procurement, logistics, HR, and operations to optimize production workflows and ensure dependable delivery. Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, mathematics, supply chain, finance, or related field with 3-5 years relevant experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, replenishment planning, demand planning or materials management OR associate degree with 5 to 10 years relevant experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, replenishment planning, demand planning or materials management
Strong analytical and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands on time
Organizational, project management skills, attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
3-5 years of experience in production planning or related positions that require cross-functional collaboration and data analysis to influence stakeholders

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Own and manage weekly/monthly production and fulfillment and capacity plans using systems and processes that support the organization’s goals
Track progress to and deviations from the plan, drive problem-solving and root cause analysis
Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity
Assess and identify potential operational risks
lead the discussion of risks and plan changes with other key business stakeholders such as Procurement, Logistics, HR and Operations leaders
Utilize production and fulfillment planning tools and track performance to ensure the successful execution of production plans
Take on projects to drive the continuous improvement of planning tools and processes and complete them on schedule
Lead or participate on special projects as required
