With refineries strategically located across Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana, Delek boasts a combined crude refining capacity of 302,000 barrels per day. The company's logistics division operates an extensive network including 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, along with various storage tanks and terminals. This positions Delek as a significant player in the energy market, dedicated not only to efficient petroleum production but also to maintaining a robust supply chain and infrastructure.
Committed to fostering a work environment that encourages innovation, versatility, and growth, Delek US Holdings offers employees a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking company. Employees benefit from a range of competitive perks including a 10% match on 401K contributions from the moment of hire with a vesting period of just one year, health benefits commencing on day one accompanied by a 30% annual premium rebate, and access to mental well-being resources such as the Calm app for meditation and stress management. The company also emphasizes a pay-for-performance culture enabling employees to earn additional incentives tied to the achievement of personal and organizational goals. With a history of substantial bonus payouts, Delek rewards dedication and excellence, fostering a culture that values talent and teamwork.
The role of Planning and Scheduling Manager at Delek US Holdings is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the Maintenance Work Process (MWP) at the site. The manager leads a team charged with meticulous planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure the operational effectiveness, safety, and reliability of refinery operations. This position entails managing routine maintenance tasks primarily while providing support for smaller projects and outages as necessary. The manager serves as the Subject Matter Expert and recognized steward of the MWP, ensuring that all planning and scheduling activities align with the company’s core values and contribute directly to safety, environmental stewardship, reliability, regulatory compliance, and production objectives.
Key to this role is the development and mentorship of the Planning and Scheduling team, ensuring members are strategically trained, motivated, and equipped to uphold the highest standards of excellence in their work. The manager also plays an integral part in fostering interdepartmental collaboration, working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and technical groups such as Inspection, Environmental, and Engineering teams to sustain a seamless and effective maintenance workflow. Additional responsibilities include developing training programs, analyzing and presenting key maintenance metrics, and driving continuous optimization of plant maintenance processes using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and SAP functionalities.
Overall, the Planning and Scheduling Manager will be pivotal to maintaining and enhancing Delek’s infrastructure reliability and operational excellence, supporting the company’s mission to deliver high-quality refined products efficiently and sustainably. This role is ideally suited for a professional with at least four years of relevant experience, leadership capabilities, and preferably experience with SAP and advanced maintenance scheduling methodologies. Join Delek and contribute to a team that values performance, innovation, and career growth, all while making a meaningful impact in the energy industry.
