Job Description
Daytona International Speedway is a premier motorsports facility located in Daytona Beach, Florida. Recognized globally for its cutting-edge design and a deep-rooted history in racing, the Speedway was honored with the SportsBusiness Journal's prestigious Sports Facility of the Year Award in 2016. It hosts "The Great American Race", the DAYTONA 500, which is the season-opening NASCAR Cup Series event and the most watched motorsports event worldwide. Spanning approximately 500 acres, Daytona International Speedway is acclaimed as the "World Center of Racing" due to its diverse schedule of racing and related events. These include the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, DAYTONA Supercross, DAYTONA 200 motorcycle classic, and the Coke Zero Sugar 400, among others. The facility is active throughout the year, frequently priding itself on hosting events beyond racing, such as track tours, concerts, civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing, and even police motorcycle training. Its vast, dynamic environment makes it not just a racetrack but a hub for motorsports fans, event organizers, and the broader community.
The role of Manager, Partnership Services, is integral to sustaining and elevating the relationships that Daytona International Speedway and associated NASCAR tracks maintain with their partners and stakeholders. This position operates within the NASCAR Partnership Services and Sales teams to provide detailed and strategic support, primarily to the Florida Division, overseeing events at Daytona International Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, proactive professional capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Manager will manage a portfolio of partners before, during, and after events, ensuring the seamless execution of partner activations such as signage, ticketing, parking, credentials, and digital media. They will also administrate Event Business Management Software, assist in contract negotiations, and liaise with accounting and finance departments to manage trades, payments, and valuations. This role requires collaboration across various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Legal, Ticketing, and Event Experience, and oversight of the Partnership Services Associate and Internship programs. Its location in Daytona Beach, Florida, connects the candidate to one of the most vibrant motorsports communities and supports the delivery of world-class motorsports experiences. This full-time position demands strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills and requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Travel commitments will account for approximately 15 percent of the time, including some weekend travel. Joining Daytona International Speedway and NASCAR not only means taking on a key leadership role within a globally recognized sports organization but also opening doors for growth, professional development, and participation in an exciting and evolving sports industry.
