This role focuses on overseeing the daily execution of Ballpark and Facility Operations at Tigertown complex during MLB Spring Training, the Lakeland Flying Tigers season in minor league baseball, and various non-game day events. The Facility Operations Manager will ensure that all events held at the complex—from high-profile MLB Spring Training games to local minor league contests and third-party functions—run smoothly and efficiently. This position demands strong leadership capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining an optimal guest experience while ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the facility. Key responsibilities include event setup and breakdown, coordination with vendors, facility maintenance, managing game day staffing and security operations, inventory tracking, and serving as the primary liaison with the City of Lakeland regarding stadium repairs and maintenance. The role requires managing packages and mail logistics, enforcing security protocols at visitor check-in/check-out, and supporting the overall administration of the Player Development Academy as part of day-to-day operational oversight.
