This sense of family and inclusion creates a work environment where employees feel supported, respected, and motivated to contribute their best efforts.
Specializing in warehousing and distribution logistics, Performance Team manages end-to-end supply chain processes through a strategic network of storage facilities. These facilities are fully equipped to handle operations such as receiving, storing, processing, and dispatching cargo efficiently. The company’s logistics solutions are designed to build flexibility and resilience, allowing it to adapt to supply chain disruptions and maintain optimal delivery timelines. Their expertise spans diverse sectors, industries, and transportation modes, enabling them to provide process excellence that reduces costs and saves valuable time for their customers.
The role in question, operating on Shift C (1st shift, Wednesday to Saturday from 5 AM to 3:30 PM), is a leadership position focusing on managing the operations and development of company products. The role involves overseeing all activities related to operations through direct involvement or by supervising subordinate managers. Key responsibilities include input into product strategy, setting production and quality standards, budgeting and cost control, as well as ensuring that production commitments are met on time and within cost parameters.
This position requires developing manufacturing process plans covering various requirements such as personnel, materials, subcontractors, facilities, and equipment. The incumbent will coordinate activities across departments and with suppliers to optimize production efficiency. Additional duties include reviewing operating reports to solve problems that may cause operational delays, managing production data, and establishing clear responsibilities for all assigned staff. Compliance with company policies and legal regulations is mandatory, and the candidate will be tasked with ensuring that all team members understand and adhere to these standards.
Supervisory responsibilities are extensive, overseeing up to five subordinate supervisors who manage over 50 employees across multiple departments including Special Projects, Shipping and Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory, and Auditing. The role demands strong leadership capabilities to perform hiring, training, performance appraisals, conflict resolution, and employee motivation in alignment with company policies and relevant laws.
Candidates should possess at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent, along with significant experience in warehouse operations management, including at least one year in cold storage and background in fast-paced, production-based environments. Knowledge of warehouse performance management is essential.
The company offers a competitive starting salary range of $85,000 to $90,000, with adjustments possible based on market factors and candidate qualifications. Performance Team also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision coverage, 401k with company match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, flexible work schedules when feasible, and more.
Emphasizing diversity and inclusion, Performance Team is an equal opportunity employer that welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and commits to making accommodations throughout the application and hiring process if needed. This role offers the chance to be part of a supportive, dynamic team with a commitment to excellence in logistics and operations management.
