The Manager, Operations role at PeoplesBank Arena is a vital leadership position within OVG’s venue management structure. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 and includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan with company matching, and paid time off inclusive of vacation, sick days, and holidays. As the operational overseer, the Manager will be instrumental in executing the day-to-day management and strategic planning of front and back of house services, technical services, IT support, facility conversions, custodial services, and equipment inventory. The role requires close collaboration with the Director of Operations and other department heads to ensure seamless venue performance during events, including managing a variety of staff teams and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Manage all staff involved in housekeeping, conversion, and technical services
develop, maintain, and manage operating procedures relating to housekeeping, technical service, 24-hour facility security, and conversion
manage the day-to-day maintenance of the ice surface in accordance with AHL regulations
develop preshow department staffing estimates of expense for the Event Manager and Accounting
review and recommend day-to-day operational policies and procedures for the Operations department
research, review, and recommend equipment, materials, and supplies required for the Operations department
perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations
