Job Description
Performance Team is a company that exemplifies a culture rooted in honesty and integrity, fostering trust with both customers and employees. We believe our commitment to our people is what differentiates us in the marketplace and encourages our customers to keep working with us. We treat our workplace like a family where every individual is valued and supported, making it an inviting place for those seeking a sense of belonging and growth alongside dedicated professionals.
The Performance Team operates in the logistics and warehousing industry, specializing in end-to-end warehousing and distribution management. Our network of strategically located storage facilities allows us to receive, store, process, and dispatch cargo efficiently, thereby enhancing the supply chain's flexibility and resilience. Our integrated and proactive supply chain solutions enable us to anticipate risks and adapt our strategies to meet delivery timelines and customer expectations even amidst unforeseen challenges. The breadth of our expertise spans diverse industries and transportation modes, equipping us to deliver excellence that minimizes costs and maximizes resource utilization.
The role offered is one of leadership in operations management, directly overseeing the activities and development of company products. This position is pivotal in managing production, quality control, budgeting, and logistics coordination from planning through execution. You will personally, or through subordinate supervisors, manage multiple teams and guide the manufacturing process with a focus on meeting all cost, quality, and delivery targets. The position requires close collaboration with various departments and external suppliers to optimize productivity and resource use.
This opportunity follows a set schedule with shifts from Sunday to Wednesday, 6 PM to 4:30 AM, providing a structured yet dynamic work environment. The role commands a leadership position with supervisory responsibility over up to five subordinate managers who oversee more than fifty employees across various departments such as Special Projects, Shipping and Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory, and Auditing.
Key responsibilities include participating in product strategy development, establishing production and quality standards, budgeting, and implementing cost controls. You will also develop manufacturing process plans considering personnel, materials, subcontracting, and equipment needs. Ensuring compliance with company policies, government regulations, and customer requirements, the role demands strong leadership skills to assign responsibilities, train staff, and resolve operational issues timely. Administrative duties also form a significant part of the position, involving data management and reporting to support informed decision-making.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, combined with at least five years of experience in warehouse operations management, particularly within fast-paced, production-based environments. Experience in warehouse performance management is required, and those proficient in Spanish will find this an added advantage. The role offers an annual salary range of $70,000 to $85,000, subject to adjustment based on market conditions and candidate qualifications.
Working at Performance Team means joining an organization committed to diversity and inclusion, embracing different perspectives and backgrounds. We provide support and accommodations throughout the hiring process for candidates who require it and maintain an equal opportunity stance in employment regardless of race, gender, age, disability, veteran status, or any protected characteristic.
If you are ready to contribute to a company dedicated to operational excellence and be part of a close-knit team that values integrity and trust, we invite you to apply and grow your career with us.
