Part of Marriott International's Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, the resort exemplifies dedication to superior guest experiences and exceptional service. With a portfolio that spans over 120 properties across more than 35 countries, the Luxury Collection represents the promise of authentic experiences that create lasting memories for guests worldwide. Known for its legendary status and timeless elegance, The Royal Hawaiian provides a truly immersive environment where luxury meets tradition, offering an unparalleled work culture that values diversity, integrity, and continuous growth.

This full-time Management position in the Food and Beverage category plays a crucial role in the daily operations and overall success of the resort's restaurants, bars, and room service areas. The position offers an annual pay range of $69,400 to $90,000, with bonus eligibility, reflecting the importance of strong leadership within the hospitality environment. The role involves supervising daily restaurant operations, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining rigorous sanitation standards, ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. The manager will work closely with servers and hosts during peak meal periods to uphold seamless service flow and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities focus on improving guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance within the assigned areas. The role demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills for leading and motivating the food and beverage team, enforcing compliance with all applicable food handling, sanitation, and liquor laws. The manager is expected to foster a collaborative and respectful work environment, acting as a role model to encourage professional development among team members. Training needs are identified and addressed through effective coaching and mentoring, ensuring that all staff are well-prepared to meet the resort's high standards.

An essential part of the job is managing human resource activities, such as setting performance standards, monitoring staff performance, and providing ongoing training that supports employees’ growth and enhances service delivery. The manager is responsible for creating a workplace where employees feel valued and supported, promoting open communication, and encouraging a positive, inclusive culture. The role involves hands-on management, including assisting servers and hosts during busy periods, supervising shift operations in the absence of assistant management, and ensuring adherence to financial responsibilities like purchasing and invoice payments.

At Marriott International and The Royal Hawaiian, the commitment to equal opportunity employment is paramount. The company promotes a culture that embraces diversity and provides access to opportunity for all individuals, regardless of disability, veteran status, or any legally protected characteristic. Benefits offered with this role include healthcare, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan, accrued paid time off including sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and additional wellness benefits, plus incentive compensation.

Joining The Royal Hawaiian means becoming part of a global team dedicated to delivering personalized, anticipatory hospitality that honors the rich cultural legacy of the destination while fostering professional excellence.
