This reputation highlights the company's dedication to fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture that values integrity and service.
The CBRE Meeting & Events Manager role is an integral part of the Workplace Experience function, designed to provide world-class customer service to clients and visitors at a designated building, specifically serving a brand-new Global Headquarters office. This position entails leading a small team responsible for managing meetings, events, and conference services in a dynamic and busy environment. The role demands a polished, organized professional comfortable interfacing with executives and senior management, capable of providing leadership and oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery.
As a Meeting & Events Manager at CBRE, you will harness your experience in similar roles, ideally having 3-5 years of management experience in events or meeting coordination. Your responsibilities will involve team supervision, training, developing, and mentoring staff to build a high-performing team that meets the demands of a fast-paced corporate office. The role requires flexibility, with a typical schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and occasional evenings to oversee events.
You will serve as the primary client contact for meeting and event forecasts and strategies and will be entrusted with managing budgets, approving purchase orders, and implementing process improvements to enhance event success. Your vigilant approach to operations will ensure compliance with location requirements and vendor agreements while tracking service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and benchmarks to measure departmental success.
This position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan, with eligibility to begin these benefits on the first of the month. CBRE encourages internal advancement opportunities after six months of employment, supporting career growth within the company. Joining CBRE means becoming part of a team that influences the communities it serves and contributes to the thriving business environment of one of the world’s most respected real estate firms.
In summary, this role is perfect for a strategic, customer-focused leader ready to manage high-stakes meetings and events in a prestigious corporate setting. It is an opportunity to be part of a global company that not only offers career development but also exemplifies a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence in every client interaction and operational aspect.
