Job Description
IHG Hotels & Resorts is a global leader in the hospitality industry, operating a vast portfolio of over 6,000 hotel destinations worldwide. As a highly respected hotel company, IHG is committed to delivering True Hospitality for Good by providing exceptional guest experiences and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative work culture. At its core, IHG values connections, flexibility, and balance, nurturing an environment where employees are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work. This approach supports productivity, wellbeing, and career growth, ensuring that there is always Room for You to belong, grow, and make a difference.
The Manager, Groups & Events Program Enablement (Tech Focus) plays a crucial role within IHG by supporting Groups & Events Enablement through the capture, management, and delivery of enterprise-level technology requirements. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the Groups & Events technology ecosystem aligns with operational needs across property, regional, and corporate levels. Reporting within a hybrid work model based in Atlanta with an attractive salary range of $95,000 to $110,000 plus bonus eligibility, this role offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401K plan.
As the Manager, Groups & Events Program Enablement, you will lead critical efforts in capturing and maintaining business requirements for prioritized technology initiatives that empower the Groups & Events division. You will orchestrate the delivery of roadmap initiatives by coordinating internal technology teams and external partners to meet strategic goals effectively. Partnering with data and analytics teams, you will ensure data architectures support business needs, while providing governance and project management oversight to guarantee timely and within scope delivery.
Your expertise will be required to produce actionable business requirements documentation gleaned from complex release notes, technical diagrams, and equivalent technical documentation. You will identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs through governance forums to inform sound decision-making. Working closely with regional offices, operations teams, and owners associations, this role ensures technology requirements align with the overarching Groups and Events strategy and are clearly communicated to product teams.
Additionally, you will collaborate with Product & Technology Change Management, Groups & Events Enablement, and Learning & Development personnel to support hotel onboarding and implementation activities related to technology. Tracking the progress of key initiatives is vital, as is capturing enhancement feedback and identifying business process improvement opportunities. This role demands someone adept at navigating ambiguity, managing evolving priorities, and balancing competing demands.
Overall, this position offers an exciting opportunity within a globally recognized hospitality leader, providing a chance to impact a critical business function through technology enablement at enterprise scale. It is ideal for candidates with a background in product management or business analysis, who have a demonstrated ability to own complex, cross-functional technology initiatives and thrive in dynamic, matrixed environments.
