The organization works collaboratively with various partners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality events that attract visitors from around the globe. The Convention and Visitors Authority does not only focus on attracting tourists but also on ensuring that every event managed under its banner is executed flawlessly, with an emphasis on creativity, efficiency, and brand consistency.

The Manager of Event Design role at LVCVA is a dynamic and integral position that blends creativity with strategic planning to orchestrate events of large scale and impact. This role involves working across various departments including executive leadership, operations, marketing, and sales teams to deliver events that truly embody the Las Vegas spirit and elevate the brand experience with a distinctive "WOW" factor. Responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of event planning from concept through execution, the Manager of Event Design is tasked with delivering on-brand, visually engaging, and logistically sound events that meet or come under budget. The position demands strong leadership and collaborative skills, coordination with internal and external partners, and excellent communication to ensure that the event vision is realized both in planning and on-site management. The role also involves leveraging sponsorship opportunities to optimize cost-efficiency, conducting thorough pre- and post-event evaluations to measure success, and staying current on event planning trends and local market dynamics. The Manager acts as a liaison to various event partners and suppliers and is responsible for creating an inclusive and cooperative environment that fosters excellent customer service.

This management-class position offers a comprehensive benefits package and requires the ability to work flexibly, including travel and occasional work outside regular business hours. The LVCVA encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
