Job Description
ETR (Education, Training, and Research) is a respected national non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of youth and communities through championing science. As an organization deeply invested in the intersection of health and education, ETR examines and addresses how outcomes in these areas are shaped by the complex interactions between individuals and their environments. As a mission-driven learning organization, ETR values diverse perspectives, collaboration, and continuous growth — both within the team and in partnership with external stakeholders. Their commitment to evidence-based programs, services, and products fuels positive outcomes nationwide, making them a leading force in the sphere of community health and education.
ETR is currently seeking a Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions to join their team remotely within the United States. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions, this role is integral to supporting ETR’s transaction and integration activities. This individual contributor position focuses on project management, process coordination, documentation, and ensuring consistent follow-through across all stages of merger and acquisition transactions. The Manager will be responsible for maintaining structure, visibility, and momentum to ensure smooth progression through the M&A lifecycle. Candidate responsibilities include coordinating transaction milestones, tracking risks and deliverables, maintaining critical process documentation, and standardizing materials and templates to streamline future transactions.
This role requires close collaboration across multiple departments including Legal, Finance, Culture, Operations, and Executive leadership. Although this is a remote position, strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a virtual, cross-functional environment are essential. The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing multiple teams and projects simultaneously, have familiarity with integration management office processes or frameworks, and bring project management or process improvement certifications such as PMP or Lean. Experience with federal and state grant compliance and due diligence is preferred, along with exposure to financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and regulatory issues relevant to mergers and acquisitions.
ETR offers a competitive salary range from $126,000 to $154,900 annually, with the typical hiring range falling between $126,000 and $140,800 for full-time employment. The starting salary depends on the applicant’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Employees at ETR benefit from a robust package that includes a 401(k) plan with matching, comprehensive health insurance, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and flexible work schedules. Join ETR and contribute to a mission that is truly making a tangible difference in the health and education landscape across the country.
