Operating across numerous countries with a workforce passionate about advancing commerce through cutting-edge technology, Mastercard consistently leverages forward-thinking approaches to improve service delivery and customer engagement. The company nurtures a diverse work environment that promotes professional development and fosters a culture of collaboration, making it a highly sought-after employer for professionals eager to make a meaningful impact on global business solutions.

The role of Manager, Meeting & Events Management at Mastercard represents a vital component of the company’s Events Management team. Situated within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this opportunity focuses on crafting sophisticated and memorable experiences for clients by merging superior event execution, refined hospitality, and innovative event design. The Manager will oversee the planning and delivery of an extensive range of high-profile internal and external engagements, including executive meetings, Board of Directors events, gala dinners, and bespoke cultural experiences. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a profound understanding of both classic and contemporary event aesthetics, applying their expertise to create elegantly timeless yet trend-conscious events.

This role requires a hospitality professional deeply immersed in the culinary and events landscape, possessing strong knowledge of the luxury restaurant scene and global hospitality trends, with an emphasis on New York City. Creativity and an eye for detail are essential, as is the ability to weave fresh, unexpected elements into event designs without compromising on sophistication. The Manager must combine innovative vision with operational excellence, being adept problem solvers who can anticipate challenges and use emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance event creativity, efficiency, and productivity.

Collaboration with senior leaders and multiple stakeholders is a core aspect of this position, requiring top-tier organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities successfully. The role is based out of Mastercard’s Purchase, NY office at least three days per week, with expected travel for site visits and event execution, including availability during evenings and weekends for significant programs. The compensation package ranges between $125,000 and $207,000 USD, reflecting the seniority and specialized expertise demanded by this role.

Key responsibilities include partnering closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define event objectives aligned with Mastercard’s business goals and brand standards. Leading comprehensive event planning efforts, curating standout hospitality experiences, and ensuring seamless event logistics are essential functions. The Manager will also handle budget management, vendor negotiations, and streamline operational procedures, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and forward-looking mindset.

Travel, both domestic and international, is integral to the role, ensuring flawless experiences at every touchpoint and delivering premium service to VIPs and executives. This position offers a unique chance for a solution-oriented event management professional to join a prestigious global corporation, pushing experiential marketing standards forward and thriving in an environment that values innovation, cultural connectivity, and meticulous event execution.
