The Luxury Services department at Resorts World Las Vegas plays a pivotal role in delivering such elevated experiences. The department focuses on creating seamless and prestigious stays for VIP guests by managing and overseeing the full scope of Food and Beverage operations within specialized settings such as in-room dining, in-villa meal services, and exclusive areas like the Baccarat space. This position ensures the flawless execution of guest services by collaborating closely with culinary teams to develop and introduce distinctive menu offerings, while also supervising the selection and inventory control of premium wines and liquors. This role requires exceptional organizational and leadership skills to manage the workforce effectively while maintaining the quality and personalization of guest experiences.
The role involves significant operational responsibilities including planning and executing private functions within the luxury suites, managing Butler assignments and schedules, coordinating with multiple departments for approvals and setup of amenities prior to guest arrivals, and maintaining confidentiality of guest preference profiles. The individual in this role must also navigate diverse operational systems such as Point-of-Sale, Property Management, and Casino Player Tracking systems efficiently to streamline departmental functions. Job Requirements
- at least 21 years of age
- high School Diploma or equivalent
- minimum five years experience within Hotel Operations or a directly related operational area/field
- proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration
- ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Card
- ability to obtain Food Handling Card
- tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality
- prolonged sitting/standing
- bending and reaching
- transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 10 lbs
- ability to comply with policies and procedures, job description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions
Job Qualifications
- working knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems, Property Management systems and Casino Player Tracking systems
- experience managing a workforce of at least thirty employees
- strong decision-making skills while managing multiple priorities
- ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- trained in Forbes Travel Guide standards
- experience working in a call center, concierge, fine dining restaurant, front desk, and/or VIP Lounge
- at least three years of directly related operational management experience at a similar leadership level
- at least two years' experience in Food and Beverage in a related field
- working knowledge and experience with OPERA
- working knowledge of HotSOS
- working knowledge of Konami Synkros, Symphony, and/or Cisco
- bachelor's degree in a related field
- previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting
Job Duties
- manage the daily operation for the Luxury Services department ensuring seamlessness in stay regarding high-profile casino and VIP guests
- oversee the Food and Beverage operations of In Room Dining, In-Villa meal services, as well as overall Food and Beverage operations of the Baccarat space, wine and liquor selection, and inventory control
- assist with planning and execution of private functions within the Villas, Presidential and Palace suites including menu selections, pricing and staffing
- partner with the culinary team on development and implementation of offerings, menu presentations and menu education of the Butlers
- aid with Butler assignments, scheduling, and FTE management including time-off requests, EOs, and EDOs
- email Hosts and Admins for amenity, food, and beverage approvals during pre-arrival and stay dates
- ensure all floral, IRD, and Host amenities are set up in suite prior to guest arrivals in accordance to the guest profile
- consolidate guest information from the daily shift pass-down, input on guest profiles, review for accuracy updates, and protect confidentiality of guest preference profiles within the department
- use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents
- perform other job-related duties as requested
