Job Description

THE TEAM operates at the epicenter of sports, music, and entertainment, serving talent, brands, and properties on a global scale. LIVE TEAM specializes in delivering branding and signage, custom fabrication, live event production, and experiential operations across sports, music, and entertainment. The company partners with some of the world's most iconic properties and brands, elevating live events to create memorable, unforgettable experiences for audiences worldwide. Headquartered in Los Angeles, THE TEAM has an extensive presence that spans 28 countries and over 70 cities including major hubs such as New York, London, Abu Dhabi, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Madrid, Mexico City, Toronto, Paris, and Sydney. This global footprint enables THE TEAM to deliver impactful live experiences grounded in deep local knowledge and operational excellence.

The LIVE TEAM is seeking a creative, organized, and experienced Event Manager to join their professional team. This role is designed for an individual passionate about live events, particularly within the motorsports industry, who can plan, manage, and execute large-scale live events that impress clients and audiences alike. The Event Manager will act as the lead point of contact on significant events for LIVE TEAM, overseeing the delegation of roles and responsibilities to a diverse team of event staff. The role involves end-to-end event management duties, from conceptualization and planning through to on-site execution and post-event wrap-up.

This position demands a hands-on approach with high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and sometimes unpredictable environment. The Event Manager will collaborate closely with internal departments, clients, vendors, artists, and external technical teams to ensure seamless event delivery. Given the operational aspects of the job, the role requires 40-60% travel to different event locations, often coordinating logistics across multiple time zones and venues. Skilled in project management and problem-solving, the Event Manager will lead cross-functional teams ranging from 3 to 50 people, including vendors, contractors, and internal staff. Responsibilities also include budget management, contract negotiation, venue research, vendor coordination, script writing for talent and announcers, and stage management duties during live shows.

Overall, this is a unique opportunity for an event professional to join a globally recognized brand that is dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art live experiences in the sports and entertainment industries. The Event Manager role promises a dynamic work environment where creativity, leadership, and operational expertise combine to drive the success of pioneering live events. Candidates who enjoy multitasking, working with diverse teams, and leading complex projects from start to finish will find this role highly rewarding and challenging.
