With a rich legacy spanning 99 years, The Freeman Company brings a data-driven approach combined with the largest network of experts in the sector. Their comprehensive insights actively shape exhibitions, exhibits, and events to engage audiences and drive them toward meaningful actions. Leveraging integrated full-service solutions, this organization skillfully blends tradition with innovative technologies to create memorable moments that leave a lasting impact. Whether managing large-scale general sessions or specialty exhibits, The Freeman Company commits to delivering excellence every step of the way.

The LED Manager, Operations role is a pivotal position within The Freeman Company, responsible for leading the pre-production LED design team and overseeing all stages from budgeting to implementation. This position demands alignment of resources, operational standards, and cutting-edge technology to facilitate the design and execution of a broad spectrum of LED projects, including LED posters, small sponsor walls, specialty exhibits, and large general sessions. Serving as a people leader, the LED Manager fosters team engagement, drives capability development, and manages performance while cultivating a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

This role involves close collaboration with multiple departments, including safety, engineering, fabrication, and video design teams. The LED Manager works under the Audio Visual and Event Technology umbrella and supports these teams to ensure flawless execution of LED projects. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, primarily based in Dallas, TX or Las Vegas, NV, with the expectation of working onsite 2-3 days per week. This hybrid approach provides flexibility while maintaining the critical hands-on involvement required for event success.

Accountability for budget management, workforce planning, and operational KPI monitoring are crucial components of the job. The LED Manager is tasked with navigating complex project logistics, labor planning, on-site supervision during installations and dismantles, and ensuring compliance with safety, union, venue, and client-specific requirements. The role also encompasses direct management and development of frontline supervisors and operations staff, ensuring the team is engaged, trained, and performing at its best.

Moreover, the LED Manager champions a strong safety culture, promotes continuous process improvements driven by client feedback, and consistently delivers a high-quality client experience throughout event delivery. Financial stewardship is another key responsibility, focusing on cost control and resource optimization to meet business targets, while also identifying cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing service quality. Overall, this role is vital to orchestrating seamless LED operations that enhance The Freeman Company's reputation as a leader in live event technology.
