Job Description

The hiring organization is a leading healthcare provider operating across Latin America, dedicated to delivering exceptional medical services through a network of ministries. This esteemed organization is part of the broader CHRISTUS Health system, which emphasizes innovation, operational excellence, and strategic growth within the healthcare sector. With a robust presence in the LATAM region, the company focuses on integrating financial and operational strategies to enhance the performance and sustainability of its diverse medical facilities. As a full-time employer, this organization offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment that supports personal and professional growth while contributing to the advancement of healthcare services.

The LATAM Operational Support Manager role is an integral position within this organization, responsible for coordinating and enhancing the strategic portfolio across Latin America. This position focuses primarily on supporting operational and financial performance management of LATAM ministries. The manager plays a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing strategic, operational, and financial data to improve efficiency, drive long-term growth, and ensure the financial sustainability of healthcare operations. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders including operations CEOs, business development leaders, finance teams, and other key decision-makers.

In this strategic role, the LATAM Operational Support Manager leads the integration and implementation of the CHRISTUS Strategic Execution Gap Analysis (SEGA) model, helping to embed this tool into global processes for tracking and managing LATAM strategic projects. The manager supports data-driven decision-making by preparing and consolidating operational dashboards using automated systems that link local enterprise resource planning systems with CHRISTUS' data lake, ensuring up-to-date and seamless data flows. The role involves conducting detailed financial and operational analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing EBITDAM (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization, and management fees) and optimizing overall organizational efficiency.

The successful candidate will assist in defining standardized KPIs across the LATAM region, aligning with global CHRISTUS definitions to ensure consistency and accuracy. In addition to supporting monthly costing and closing processes, the manager collaborates with the International Finance team to analyze budget variances and manage balance sheet and internal control reviews for LATAM operations. This position also supports special projects and M&A activities such as financial valuation and market research to aid strategic decisions.

We seek a highly organized individual with the ability to manage multiple projects, great attention to detail, and strong documentation skills. Expertise in hospital financials and performance metrics is essential, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. The role demands excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work effectively with multinational and multidisciplinary teams. The LATAM Operational Support Manager must be adept at influencing and negotiating to align processes, initiatives, and KPIs with the organization's strategic vision. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, offering a balanced full-time opportunity within a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environment.
