The role of Manager, IT Support is a critical position within the Airlite Omaha team, tailored for a leader who is passionate about driving excellence in technology support and service delivery. This full-time position involves leading and developing IT support teams to ensure that technology services provide a reliable, secure, and efficient user experience. As an integral part of the company’s IT operations, the Manager, IT Support will cultivate a people-first leadership style that aligns with Airlite’s values – often referred to as the Airlite Way – emphasizing trust, accountability, transparency, innovation, and continuous learning.

The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of IT support operations including help desk management, end-user device support, asset inventory, and workplace technologies. A key part of this role involves adopting new tools and technologies such as AI-enabled service management and automation solutions to enhance service efficiency, responsiveness, and overall customer satisfaction. The Manager will work collaboratively with other IT leaders and business partners to align technology support with organizational goals and ensure the team is enabled to deliver service excellence.

Additional responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, driving process improvements, and leading support-focused projects such as device refreshes and software rollouts. Success in this role requires a combination of strong leadership skills, deep technical knowledge of IT service management, and the ability to execute process improvements that optimize user support experiences. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading IT support or service delivery teams
  • Experience with IT service management practices
  • Experience with help desk operations
  • Experience with end-user support environments
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Evaluate and pilot tools that enhance IT support delivery including automation and AI-enabled solutions
  • Partner with IT leadership on secure and value-driven technology use cases
  • Ensure teams are trained and enabled to adopt new tools and processes
  • Manage and coordinate IT support initiatives and projects
  • Translate help desk management trends and user feedback into service improvements
  • Define and improve IT support policies, procedures, standards, and SLAs
