Job Description

Carnival Corporation & plc is the world's largest leisure travel company, renowned for delivering unforgettable happiness to guests through a diverse portfolio of leading cruise brands and island destinations. These include Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, and Seabourn in North America and Australia; P&O Cruises and Cunard Line in the United Kingdom; AIDA in Germany; and Costa Cruises in Southern Europe. With a commitment not only to exceptional guest experiences but also to fostering a global community among its employees, Carnival Corporation offers a dynamic workplace where professional growth aligns with making a meaningful difference.

Join our small, collaborative team as a Corporate Communications Specialist based in our Miami/Ft. Lauderdale office in South Florida. This full-time, in-office role (with remote work permitted on Fridays) is ideal for a proactive, adaptable communicator passionate about storytelling and technology. In this role, you will handle both internal and external communications for Carnival Corporation globally. You will strategize, plan, and produce a wide range of communication materials including internal messages, employee Town Halls, manager talking points, issue briefs, website stories, social media content, executive speeches, and presentations.

A key focus of your role is driving Carnival’s AI journey, identifying where artificial intelligence can enhance corporate communications workflows, refining those use cases, and partnering with brand communication teams to scale successful AI tools and systems across the enterprise. You will work closely with internal and external communications teams, brand teams, senior corporate leaders, and subject matter experts in investor relations, government affairs, legal, and sustainability. Your work will help share the company’s mission, purpose, and priorities, protect its reputation, and engage key stakeholders globally.

The ideal candidate writes beautifully and edits meticulously, managing shifting priorities calmly while demonstrating excellent judgment and collaborative skills. You will be self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable driving projects forward independently to deliver results on time and within budget. Your expertise in corporate communications combined with a strong understanding of AI tools and strategic campaign management will enable you to lead integrated programs that resonate across multiple audiences and geographies.

This position requires less than 25% travel (non-shipboard), occasional work beyond normal business hours, and is based in an office environment with the necessity to remain seated at a desk for extended periods. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. Carnival Corporation offers a competitive total rewards package including annual cash bonuses, equity incentive plans for director-level roles and above, comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) plan with company match, employee stock purchase plans, paid time off, complementary cruises, employee discounts, professional development opportunities, and an on-site fitness center.

At Carnival, we are committed to promoting an ethical and compliant culture built on integrity, honesty, and respect. We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, prohibiting discrimination based on sex, race, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, or any other protected status. This role offers the unique chance to join a globally recognized company where your communications expertise and AI innovation will significantly impact how we connect and inspire employees and stakeholders worldwide.
