Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management hospitality business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in event operations venue management or hospitality logistics preferably in the sports or live event industry
  • Ability to work on-site in an office environment based in Los Angeles CA
  • Strong understanding of large-scale event operations including transportation accreditation and security coordination
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and capability to adapt in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
  • Ability to visit LA28 venues on occasion

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee hospitality operations at Olympic and Paralympic venues ensuring seamless guest experiences
  • Manage entry and access control for hospitality guests in coordination with venue security and accreditation teams
  • Develop operational plans in collaboration with On Location to optimize attendee flow and ensure efficiency at venues
  • Liaise with Event Venue Management and Venue Infrastructure teams to integrate hospitality space planning with venue operations
  • Develop operational readiness and delivery plans for hospitality across assigned venues validating maps plans drawings staffing plans and other critical operational elements
  • Act as the primary liaison between On Location's operational team and internal LA28 functional areas for Olympic and Paralympic venues
  • Collaborate with key LA28 functional areas and On Location to identify all in-venue hospitality spaces creating detailed operational requirements
  • Ensure alignment between On Location's hospitality execution plans and LA28's broader operational framework and requirements
  • Facilitate regular meetings with On Location and internal stakeholders to review operational plans address challenges and coordinate solutions
  • Coordinate hospitality-specific transportation logistics with the LA28 Transportation team and On Location Operations Team
  • Oversee accreditation management and distribution of vehicle access passes ensuring compliance with accreditation policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement contingency plans to manage high-traffic areas and operational complexities
  • Facilitate real-time operational decision-making during the Games to address challenges efficiently and effectively
  • Provide regular operational updates reports and key performance metrics to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders
