The role of a Team Member or Shift Leader at Mo' Bettahs is central to the daily operations and success of the restaurant. This position requires a strong dedication to upholding the brand's standards and culture, with responsibilities ranging from front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) proficiency to leadership duties. Candidates will lead daily execution of brand standards, ensure cleanliness, support sales growth through operational excellence, monitor line speed, and handle guest service issues. Shift Leaders will also participate in weekly meetings with management and handle scheduling, reporting, inventory, and online ordering tasks. The ideal candidate embodies the aloha spirit in all interactions and demonstrates strong multitasking, communication, and leadership skills. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of restaurant experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to complete training and obtain certifications
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 to 2 years of restaurant experience (Mo' Bettahs or similar concept preferred)
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Willingness to complete training and obtain certifications as needed

Job Duties

  • Lead daily execution of brand standards and operations
  • Be proficient in both FOH and BOH positions
  • Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant (FOH and BOH) at all times
  • Support same store sales growth through operational excellence
  • Monitor and improve line speed using transaction times
  • Serve as primary contact for guest service issues and online reviews
  • Ensure quality food execution following Mo' Bettahs standards and procedures
  • Attend weekly meetings with the General Manager, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer
  • Review weekly employee schedules
  • Assist General Manager with reports, staffing guides, Compeat, online ordering, inventory, and other operational tools
  • Maintain strong knowledge and execution of Mo' Bettahs culture
  • Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and security standards
  • Ensure all employees follow company policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
