The Restaurant Manager role at Mo' Bettahs is an exciting and influential position that involves leading and overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure the highest levels of service and performance. This role demands hands-on leadership where the manager is competent across all front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) positions, actively participating in daily tasks while guiding the team towards achieving goals. The position requires responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and overall safety of the restaurant, managing customer service issues, and driving same-store sales growth. An essential part of the role is monitoring line speed through transaction times and ensuring quality food preparation consistent with Mo' Bettahs standards.

In addition, the Restaurant Manager acts as the primary contact person for all customer service-related issues, taking charge of customer reviews and feedback to continually improve service quality. The position involves coordinating with the General Manager, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer in weekly meetings to address operational concerns, staffing schedules, and performance metrics. The manager also supports administrative tasks such as completing weekly reports, handling online ordering systems, managing inventory, and staffing payroll.

Cultural knowledge is paramount, and the Restaurant Manager must embody and promote the Mo' Bettahs culture and values internally and externally. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and security standards while maintaining a neat and professional appearance. The role involves enforcing adherence to company policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook and contributing flexibly to other duties as assigned. This is an in-person position, offering a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits that underscore the company's dedication to employee well-being and professional development.

Job Duties

  • Lead the execution of the brand daily
  • Competent in all FOH and BOH positions
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, FOH and BOH
  • Responsible for same store sales growth
  • Responsible for line speed to be measured using transaction times
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all customer service matters and responsible for overall customer reviews
  • Handle the execution of quality food following proper procedures and Mo' Bettahs standards
  • Attend weekly meeting with General Manager, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer
  • Review weekly employee schedules
  • Assist General Manager to complete weekly reports, self-reporting, people PAR staffing guide, Compeat, online ordering, inventory
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the Mo' Bettahs culture
  • Follow all company standards for health, safety, sanitation, security, and maintain a neat and clean appearance
  • Adhere to and ensure all employees follow proper policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
  • Perform other duties as assigned
