Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Work with area supervisor to develop annual operating budget and control profit and loss centers including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs to meet or exceed budget expectations
  • Prepare quarterly sales projections and follow up on store action plans or area supervisor approval
  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance
  • Ensure control procedures for cash handling, restaurant, and product security are in place
  • Ensure a safe working environment by maintaining the restaurant and completing accident reports promptly
  • Interview and hire employee and management candidates through the company’s selection process
  • Maintain accurate manpower plans and prepare management schedules to ensure proper staffing
  • Oversee orientation and training of all management and hourly employees
  • Communicate goals and plans to management and employees
  • Authorize hiring and termination decisions of hourly employees
  • Develop management through meetings, performance reviews, and delegation of responsibilities
  • Foster development of hourly employees through regular meetings and training sessions
  • Ensure guest service meets company standards and respond to complaints to turn dissatisfied guests into return customers
  • Manage shifts including staff support, scheduling, decision making, and uphold standards of product quality and cleanliness
  • Implement local and national marketing promotions to increase sales
  • Complete financial, personnel, and payroll related administrative duties accurately and timely
  • Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all significant issues and take prompt corrective action
  • Create a positive working environment and increase associate morale
  • Maintain favorable relationships with all employees to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate
  • Provide a favorable image of Cantina Catrina to promote its objectives and public recognition
  • Perform other duties as required or requested
