The company operates a range of dining establishments that include both full-service and fast-casual concepts centered on delivering award-winning food and memorable guest experiences. Known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and employee development, World Wide Wings prides itself on maintaining a dynamic workplace where team members are encouraged to grow and thrive. The company is dedicated to maintaining high standards in food safety, service excellence, and operational efficiency across its restaurants.\n\nWithin this dynamic environment, the Department Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall function and success of the restaurant. Specifically, the Department Manager may serve as the Heart of House (HOH) Manager, Bar Manager, or Hospitality Manager, each having distinct responsibilities aimed at ensuring smooth operation of the restaurant during shifts. The HOH Manager is principally responsible for managing all food and product-related matters, overseeing food quality, inventory, ordering, and staff development within the kitchen and behind-the-scenes areas. The Bar Manager focuses on all adult beverage operations including ordering, inventory control, beverage quality, and compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service regulations. The Hospitality Manager ensures superior dining room service, including scheduling and developing service staff, maintaining a safe and inviting environment for guests.\n\nThis role requires someone who can wear multiple hats to manage staffing, training, performance management, and operational tasks to improve profitability and guest satisfaction. Department Managers directly handle recruiting, training, scheduling, and motivating their teams while coordinating with other managers to foster growth and consistency across the restaurant. They are accountable for quality control, adherence to recipes and standards, and utilization of various performance measurement tools like guest feedback and P&L analysis. Additionally, they manage budgets effectively, controlling food and labor costs to align with company goals. This position demands a hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with the team and upper management. Physical demands include working in a fast-paced environment, exposure to varying temperatures, and the ability to lift moderately heavy items.\n\nOverall, this full-time management position offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills within a respected brand known for its engaging atmosphere and commitment to excellence. The position requires a minimum of two years of restaurant or retail management experience, preferably with prior exposure to full bar operations. Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, completion of management certification, and the ability to pass a background check.
