Mo' Bettahs seeks a leadership role that is central to this mission: a team leader who will be instrumental in the daily execution of the brand's promise and service excellence. The role requires a dynamic individual competent in all front-of-house and back-of-house positions, which means a well-rounded understanding of restaurant operations from customer interaction to food preparation and kitchen management is essential. The ideal candidate will not only ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant but also drive same-store sales growth and manage the speed and efficiency of transactions, enhancing the overall customer experience.
As a primary point of contact for customer service, this leadership role demands exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to handling customer reviews and concerns. The team leader will oversee the implementation of quality food standards aligned with Mo' Bettahs' procedures and expectations. Collaboration is key, as the role involves attending weekly meetings with the General Manager, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business goals. Additional responsibilities include reviewing weekly employee schedules, assisting in the preparation of weekly reports, managing staffing levels, inventory, and monitoring online ordering systems.
This role also demands a deep commitment to the Mo' Bettahs culture, ensuring health, safety, sanitation, and security standards are rigorously followed. The team leader must maintain a neat and professional appearance and ensure all employees adhere to company policies as laid out in the employee handbook. Other duties may be assigned as needed, requiring flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever necessary.

Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED
- 1-2 year's work experience at Mo' Bettahs or other restaurant
- valid driver's license
- regular and predictable attendance
- basic experience with computers, ie Microsoft Suite, email
- willingness to obtain trainings and certifications as needed

Job Duties
- Lead the execution of the brand daily
- competent in all FOH and BOH positions
- responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, FOH and BOH
- responsible for same store sales growth
- responsible for line speed to be measured using transaction times
- serve as primary point of contact for all customer service matters and responsible for overall customer reviews
- handle the execution of quality food following proper procedures and Mo' Bettahs standards
- attend weekly meeting with General Manager, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer
- review weekly employee schedules
- assist General Manager to complete weekly reports, self-reporting, people PAR staffing guide, Compeat, online ordering, inventory
- have a thorough knowledge of the Mo' Bettahs culture
- follow all company standards for health, safety, sanitation, security, and maintain a neat and clean appearance
- adhere to and ensure all employees follow proper policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
- perform other duties as assigned
