As a reputable organization in the hospitality industry, Hilton Grand Vacations offers affordable, family-friendly mini vacation packages marketed and sold through retail locations situated within Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's across the United States. Our retail marketing team plays a vital role in creating and delivering vacation solutions to a wide audience, supporting the company’s mission and commitment to providing remarkable guest experiences. With a strong focus on inclusivity and diversity, Hilton Grand Vacations is an equal opportunity employer, ensuring a welcoming environment where all team members can thrive regardless of their background. We provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to foster equal participation and success within our workforce.
The Manager in Training (M.I.T.) program at Hilton Grand Vacations is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about leadership and retail marketing. This role is designed for outgoing, energetic candidates who possess excellent communication skills and a strong desire to grow within the hospitality and vacation ownership industry. No prior industry experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided, emphasizing the company’s belief in the Power of Vacation® and the importance of sharing happiness with customers. As a Manager in Training, you will play a crucial role in assisting day-to-day operations of the retail marketing kiosks located within prominent retail partner locations. Your responsibilities will include supporting a team of typically 6-12 sales and guest service representatives while embodying the company’s core values. This hands-on management role offers flexibility to provide coverage across multiple stores in your designated market, preparing you for multi-team leadership and operational management.
The M.I.T. will engage closely with leadership, building impactful relationships and developing the skills necessary to coach, motivate, and lead a team effectively. You will learn to monitor key sales and marketing metrics through accurate reporting, execute operational support functions, and collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Legal/Compliance, IT, and HR/Compensation to ensure smooth business operations. The program aims to instill in you the capabilities to cultivate a high-performing team that consistently meets or exceeds performance goals while maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and company standards.
For individuals eager to develop a career in retail marketing and leadership, this role offers unlimited growth potential within Hilton Grand Vacations, alongside a unique work-life balance with a 30-hour workweek and full benefits. The position also features competitive, uncapped commission opportunities and incentives such as referral bonuses. By joining Hilton Grand Vacations as a Manager in Training, you become part of a team driven to bring positive experiences to vacationers while advancing your professional journey in a supportive and dynamic environment.
