The role of Manager, Hospitality & Events (Registration) at MKTG Sports + Entertainment is a dynamic and integral position within the team. Based in Charlotte, NC, this full-time, permanent role is centered on managing event registration for premium global sports hospitality programs catering to Fortune 500 clients. The Manager is responsible for planning and executing a comprehensive registration system that ensures seamless attendee management, smooth event operations, and exceptional guest experiences. This role demands high attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Senior Director of Hospitality & Events, the Manager collaborates closely with internal teams and clients to define, build, and oversee registration components across multiple events, ensuring all aspects of registration from guest list management to on-site logistics are handled efficiently.
In addition to maintaining registration platforms and event websites, the Manager tracks registration progress, monitors data, and provides valuable insights to stakeholders. They serve as a central point of contact for registration inquiries from guests, clients, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution. The role also involves producing client-ready materials such as registration reports, guest lists, itineraries, and event collateral. The Manager participates in client and internal meetings to communicate timelines, update project statuses, and plan next steps. A key facet of the job is to continuously identify process improvements, implement new tools, and enhance the overall attendee experience based on post-event evaluations. Support for broader event planning activities like premium gifting and operational tasks is also expected based on team needs and priorities.
This position offers an annual salary range between $54,000 and $72,500, commensurate with experience and other factors. - 5+ years of experience in corporate communications or program management
- Experience managing websites and guest registration platforms
