The role of the Front of House Manager is critical to the continued success and expansion of Kitchen + Kocktails. This position demands a leader who is both passionate and skilled in managing front-of-house operations, with a particular focus on bar management and customer service excellence. The manager will be responsible for overseeing daily bar operations, leading the hiring and training of staff, and ensuring professional development within the team. Financial oversight including monitoring sales versus costs and managing expenses is a key responsibility. The individual will deliver revenues and profits through strategic marketing, operational management, and exceptional service delivery. Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and liquor regulations is essential, as is maintaining accurate financial paperwork such as daily sales summaries and payroll records. The Front of House Manager acts as a liaison between ownership and staff, communicating operational issues and maintaining product and service quality standards by addressing complaints and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Leadership in safety and security of the restaurant’s environment is paramount, alongside spearheading special projects as directed by ownership. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, financial acumen, and hands-on team leadership, making it ideal for professionals with a proven track record in hospitality management, coupled with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Job Duties

  • Deliver revenues and profits by developing, marketing, financing, and providing exceptional restaurant service
  • ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction by demonstrating a "Do Whatever It Takes" attitude
  • utilize leadership skills to motivate employees and ensure cost control and labor management
  • inspect the establishment and observe operations to ensure compliance with occupational, health, safety, and liquor regulations
  • ensure paperwork accuracy, including daily sales summaries, petty cash reimbursement forms, and payroll records
  • ensure adequate staffing to meet guest needs and sales goals
  • maintain high-level communication with owners and stakeholders
  • maintain product and service quality standards by evaluating operations and addressing complaints
  • initiate corrective action as needed
  • ensure the security and safety of the restaurant, guests, and team members
  • lead special projects as directed by ownership
  • perform additional duties as required
