Job Requirements
- 4-year college degree
- 2-4 years of progressive experience as a general manager of an extended-stay hotel or management company representative for extended-stay hotels or corporate experience from another extended-stay hotel company
- Proficient in using Salesforce and Microsoft Suite including Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Willingness to travel up to 80% with a flexible work schedule
- Ability to work under pressure with extended hours/days when required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage conflict and difficult conversations effectively
Job Qualifications
- 2-4 years of progressive experience as a general manager of an extended-stay hotel or management company representative for extended-stay hotels or corporate experience from another extended-stay hotel company
- 4-year college degree
- Proficient in using Salesforce and Microsoft Suite including Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- 2-3 years of Wyndham operations experience preferred
- Portfolio management experience
- Industry certifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate up the internal chain of command effectively
- Skilled in managing conflict and difficult conversations
- Ability to analyze and organize data consistently
- Proficient influencing skills to drive operational results
Job Duties
- Manage a dynamic, growing portfolio of extended-stay hotels
- Provide operational excellence from contract execution through hotel opening and ongoing operations, including on-site opening support for new hotels
- Drive extended-stay occupancy to best-in-segment levels for each hotel by training hotel teams to leverage WHR tools and programs
- Support WHR efforts to expand overall revenue generation opportunities, drive growth and performance
- Guide hotel teams toward consistently-high quality performance and increased customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers within the management company/hotel teams and assist them in resolving day-to-day and complex challenges
- Recommend decisions that have a direct impact on financial goals and operations
- Understand local market conditions impacting hotel operations and performance with the ability to identify, recommend and influence revenue-generating opportunities
- Recommend improvement actions that will drive positive guest reviews
- Travel up to 80% with flexible work schedule
- Work under pressure with extended hours/days when required to meet deadlines
