Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year leadership experience in food and beverage
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience driving business results and employee engagement
- Demonstrated leadership to achieve goals
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and guest service standards
- Proficiency with hospitality software
- Successful background check and drug screen
- High proficiency in food safety and sanitation practices
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Able to bend, stretch, and twist
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year leadership experience in food and beverage
- Experienced in driving business results, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations
- Proficient with hospitality software including Microsoft Office, payroll systems, and POS
- Completion of criminal background check and drug screen
- High proficiency in food safety and sanitation practices
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- Manager-level certification in food safety and alcohol awareness preferred
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
- Prior experience in hotel or resort management advantageous
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of key business indicators
- Experience developing and implementing workplace safety plans.
Job Duties
- Oversee daily functions of lodge restaurant and bar, quick service, and banquet operations per brand guidelines
- Contribute to strategic operational plans and implement action plans to meet monthly KPI goals
- Lead hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and counseling of food and beverage staff
- Ensure compliance with Great Wolf University training courses for all team members
- Support frontline staff in delivering exceptional guest service
- Supervise food and beverage preparation to meet quality, speed, and service standards
- Assist with peak demand operations across all F&B venues
- Manage storeroom, cooler, and freezer organization in partnership with Culinary and Purchasing Teams
- Control cost of goods sold through portion control and waste minimization strategies
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Coordinate scheduling and payroll activities with HR and other leaders
- Monitor equipment operation, perform maintenance, and coordinate repairs
- Participate in inventory management to maintain budget and par levels
- Conduct department pre-shift meetings and service audits to ensure guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with safety inspection standards.
