Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three to five years related experience in hospitality preferred
- One to three years supervising managers or supervisory role required
- Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS certification
- Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus
- Knowledgeable about county regulations
- Ability to understand BSRG dining standards
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret food service industry materials
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to calculate food costs, menu pricing, discounts, inventory, labor standards, profit and loss statements
- Basic computational and budgetary analysis skills
- Planning, problem-solving, decision-making, delegation, time management, and employee development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain high work standards
- Demonstrated initiative and independent decision-making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous improvement
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license required

Job Duties
- Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support company goals
- Support strategic intelligence and planning for food and beverage initiatives
- Ensure superior food service standards meet or exceed expectations
- Maintain effective communication regarding operations, safety, and employee concerns
- Hire, train, supervise, and schedule food and beverage staff
- Manage cost controls including goods, labor, and expenses
- Oversee budgets, purchasing, and operational reports
- Coordinate with Club Manager for budgeting and business development
- Oversee food and beverage functions such as corporate parties and weddings
- Stay current with market trends and culinary innovations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
