We are currently seeking a Manager of Food and Beverage to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and maintaining the financial health of all managed food and beverage operations. Reporting to the VP of Community Solutions, the Manager will have P&L accountability and will be responsible for ensuring that the food and beverage departments across multiple communities operate efficiently, consistently, and profitably. This leadership position requires an individual with a strong background in F&B operations, financial management, and team development who is eager to lead with a service-oriented approach.
In this role, the Manager will be instrumental in implementing F&B programs and operational best practices that improve the resident experience. Success in this position requires a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage SOPs, operational improvements, and customer service excellence. The Manager will work collaboratively with association boards, developers, and community management to evaluate current performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and strategize actionable plans for enhanced service delivery and profitability.
The Manager of Food and Beverage will also play a vital role in talent acquisition and development within the food and beverage teams. This includes recruiting, mentoring, and training staff to cultivate a high-performing, customer-focused culture. Additionally, the role demands the ability to conduct detailed property evaluations and compliance checks to ensure all communities meet the established F&B operational standards. The Manager will help bridge the gap between operational strategy and on-site execution by providing support and coverage for properties experiencing personnel shortages or other challenges.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage management preferably in community or multi-site environments
- Proven experience managing P&L and operating budgets
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including boards and management teams
- Knowledge of food and beverage operational standards and compliance
- Ability to travel to various property sites and provide on-site leadership as needed
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
- Experience in managing food and beverage operations within community or multi-site settings
- Proven track record of increasing F&B revenue and profitability

Job Duties
- Drive increase in additional F&B revenue
- P&L accountability to operating budgets through financial reporting and F&B operations
- Lead customer service and resident experience improvements through development and improvement of F&B SOPs and best practices
- Drive operational improvements and consistency within F&B operations
- Create implementation plans to support the execution of F&B programs, products, pricing and menu changes in conjunction with the association board, developer and management teams
- Assist properties with people, talent recruitment, mentor, train, to develop and manage F&B teams to maximize profitability and develop a service culture
- Conduct evaluations and present recommendations, strategic options and business plans to associations in the areas of F&B
- Support growth and sales process to communities with F&B operations
- Ability to work on site to support and/or cover for property position deficits
- Perform detailed evaluation reports on properties to ensure communities are in compliance with F&B standards as assigned by the VP of Community Solutions in conjunction with the association
- Assist in recruiting and interview efforts
- Review and assist in F&B budgets for properties, assess and evaluate new properties, complete F&B transition checklists and performance improvement plans
- Review, develop, and update service standards for all F&B operations
