Job Description

Sammons Financial Group is a diversified family of financial service companies dedicated to delivering high-quality insurance and investment products. Known for its strong heritage, stability, and commitment to customer service, Sammons Financial Group has established itself as a leader in the financial industry. The company takes pride in fostering an ownership culture that emphasizes accountability, respect, and connection among employees, providing a supportive and engaging workplace environment. The group offers comprehensive benefits, competitive compensation, and significant opportunities for professional growth and development, making it an ideal choice for professionals seeking a meaningful career in the financial sector.

The Sammons Independent Annuity Group (SIAG) plays a pivotal role within this framework, focusing on delivering innovative annuity products and superior service to agents and customers alike. SIAG is currently seeking a strategic and experienced leader to head its agent-facing experiential marketing efforts. This role, based in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, is responsible for developing and executing a holistic experiential marketing strategy that aligns with SIAG’s growth objectives and supports sales leadership priorities.

As the leader of this function, the successful candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of live events, webinars, podcasts, and multimedia productions. This position is not only strategic but also hands-on, requiring a blend of visionary leadership and operational excellence. The role involves managing and mentoring a cross-functional team, establishing and maintaining vendor partnerships, and ensuring that all experiential marketing initiatives deliver measurable impact and enhance agent engagement. The candidate will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Creative Services, and external partners to create cohesive and high-impact multimedia and live experiences.

The role's responsibilities include fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team. Embracing Sammons Financial Group’s shared values of Accountability, Connection, Openness, Respect, and Integrity is central to the role. The candidate will lead efforts to incorporate these corporate values into all experiential marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with the division's vision and mission. Regular attendance and a commitment to meeting business demands are critical for success in this role.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of USD 77,019 to USD 128,365 annually, reflective of multiple labor markets and dependent on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The role may require occasional travel to company offices or external events to support training and business needs.

Joining Sammons Financial Group means access to comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision; competitive compensation with performance-based incentives; a 100% company-funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan; work-life balance with Friday afternoons off, generous paid time off, and paid holidays; and opportunities for paid professional development and tuition reimbursement. The company also supports employee engagement beyond the workplace through volunteer time off and a nonprofit matching gift program, all within a connected and values-driven culture that empowers employees to contribute to the company’s shared success. Sammons Financial Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, reasonable accommodations, and compliance with work authorization requirements.
