Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8+ years of relevant hospitality or beverage strategy experience
- Proven mixology skills and cocktail development knowledge
- Ability to work hands-on during high-volume, fast-paced events
- Experience in brand activations and experiential marketing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel moderately for events and market support
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Commitment to upholding high hospitality standards
Job Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience in hospitality, mixology, beverage strategy, or related field
- Strong understanding of cocktail development, spirits, and bar operations
- Knowledge of global beverage trends, cocktail culture, and emerging techniques
- Comfort working hands-on in fast-paced bar environments during high-volume events or activations
- Experience supporting brand activations, events, or experiential marketing
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and commercial teams
- WSET certification is preferred
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate ideas into execution
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Creativity and innovation in beverage development and programming
- Project management and ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and hospitality excellence
Job Duties
- Develop and execute beverage and serve strategies that support the signature taste of the brands
- Leverage Mindful Beverage Creation principles to translate the science of flavor into cocktails and serves
- Translate liquid truth into recommended cocktails, rituals, and guest experiences
- Incorporate global beverage trends, techniques, and cultural insights to inform drink strategies
- Partner with brand and marketing teams for consistency across experiential, POS, and social media platforms
- Lead beverage strategy for corporate communication events, brand activations, and Suntory Holdings engagements
- Support execution of high-profile events internally and externally as a subject matter expert
- Provide on-the-ground bar support at NYC HQ during peak or high-volume periods
- Ensure elevated hospitality standards and seamless guest experience delivery
- Build and maintain relationships with key bartenders and bar partners in NYC, U.S., and select global markets
- Drive brand advocacy and visibility within the hospitality community
- Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities
- Develop and deliver brand education, training materials, and serve guidelines
- Support internal and external training to elevate product knowledge and storytelling
- Create scalable tools for consistent execution
- Partner with Chicago mixology lead on RFP development and national programming
- Contribute to beverage concept pitches and experiential ideas
- Collaborate with global and regional teams for alignment, scalability, and best practices sharing
- Adapt beverage strategies to diverse market needs while maintaining brand integrity
