Job Description
Anheuser-Busch represents one of the most iconic names in the beverage industry, renowned for its rich heritage and commitment to brewing exceptional beers that have captivated audiences for over 165 years. As the nation's top brewer, the company owns and manages a diverse portfolio of celebrated beer brands including Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser, Bud Light, Stella Artois, and the innovative Cutwater Spirits, alongside leading craft beer brands. More than just a brewing giant, Anheuser-Busch stands as a symbol of American industry success and cultural presence, dedicated to supporting its expansive workforce of 65,000 employees and the communities it serves nationwide. Their mission is deeply rooted in sustainability, community engagement, and responsible drinking programs, reinforcing their leadership role in creating a future with more to celebrate. The company offers competitive salary packages aligning with the region, such as $82,400 to $97,850 for St. Louis/Remote-TX roles and $99,200 to $117,800 for New York City positions, paired with bonus eligibility.
The role open at Anheuser-Busch is for a Trade Show & Event Marketing Manager at BeatBox Beverages, a dynamic subset of the broader company portfolio. This position is tailor-made for a highly organized, strategic, and creative individual experienced in the event marketing sphere, especially within the beverage industry. The manager will take full ownership of planning and executing an array of events including trade shows, industry conferences, roadshows, summits, and proprietary brand events hosted by BeatBox. Acting at the intersection of logistics and creativity, this role emphasizes delivering immersive, memorable experiences that embody the energy and culture of the BeatBox brand while ensuring seamless execution. The Trade Show & Event Marketing Manager is pivotal in manifesting bold brand activations which drive measurable business outcomes such as lead generation, sales growth, and deepening customer loyalty.
The manager will collaborate closely across multiple departments such as Sales, Trade Marketing, Field, Marketing, Creative, and Operations teams to align event strategies with broader business goals. Their responsibilities extend from full lifecycle event planning—from ideation and logistics coordination including shipping, inventory, setup, and teardown—to post-event performance tracking and ROI analysis. The role demands a creative vision to enhance event environments through compelling visual and experiential elements, working with creative and marketing colleagues to develop effective brand storytelling assets. Budget management, vendor negotiation, and contract oversight also fall under this manager's remit, ensuring events are delivered efficiently and effectively without compromising impact.
Ideal candidates will have attained a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business, or a related discipline, and possess 5 to 10 years of experience specifically in event and trade show management. Proven project management skills to juggle multiple simultaneous events successfully, expertise in budget administration, and a keen eye for experiential marketing are indispensable. The role requires excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication and relationship management skills. Additionally, the ability to travel frequently is necessary to oversee event execution on the ground. Understanding alcohol beverage industry regulations and compliance is essential to uphold standards across all events. The physical aspects of the job include prolonged computer work and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds during event setup and breakdown.
Working for Anheuser-Busch offers candidates the chance to join a team that treasures passion, talent, and curiosity while providing extensive opportunities for professional development. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, wellness programs, life insurance, disability protection, generous parental leave policies, 401(k) retirement savings with company matching, a fast-paced collaborative work environment, and unique perks like free beer. At its core, this career prospect marries the excitement of brand experience creation with the support of a large, respected company committed to fostering innovation and success in the beverage industry.
