Job Description

Flourish Health is a dedicated healthcare organization committed to making high-quality mental health care accessible to adolescents and young adults across the United States. Recognizing the alarming statistic that 1 in 25 adolescents and young adults will be diagnosed with serious mental illness, Flourish Health aims to bridge the gap in mental health care access by providing comprehensive solutions designed to meet the unique needs of these populations and their families. This mission-driven company harnesses innovative clinical approaches and compassionate care to support individuals on their mental health journey, ensuring that care is equitable, inclusive, and impactful. Flourish Health operates as a tech-enabled healthcare provider that focuses on delivering accessible, personalized mental health services to its clients, primarily through remote and in-person interventions that coincide with evolving healthcare standards and patient needs.

The role of Manager, Events & Culture at Flourish Health is integral to cultivating an engaging and supportive workplace environment that embodies the company’s core values and mission. This full-time position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $79,000 and operates under a remote work model, supplemented by periodic in-person event management and attendance, approximately two or more times per year. Reporting directly to the Director of People Operations, the Manager will be responsible for the strategic design and operational execution of events and cultural initiatives that foster connection, growth, and inclusivity among Flourish Health’s employees.

As a pivotal team member, the Manager, Events & Culture will end-to-end manage the planning and implementation of company-wide offsites, celebrations, and ongoing programming that supports employee development and wellness. This includes coordinating logistics such as venue selection, vendor partnerships, agenda development, and inclusivity considerations to accommodate both in-person and remote participants. The role requires a blend of empathy, strategic thinking, and extensive event management expertise, ensuring that events not only run smoothly but also contribute meaningfully to Flourish Health’s organizational culture and employee experience.

Beyond event management, the role involves building and maintaining scalable processes that evolve with the company’s growth, managing multi-faceted communications, and driving initiatives that promote psychological safety and inclusivity across diverse teams. The Manager will also support a variety of synchronous and asynchronous programming, including workshops, panel discussions, and well-being events, designed to create a dynamic and engaging work environment that addresses distinct employee needs across different time zones and remote work schedules.

Additionally, the Manager, Events & Culture will actively gather engagement data through pulse surveys and feedback mechanisms to continuously assess the effectiveness of cultural and event initiatives. Analyzing this data will enable the Manager to recommend and implement refinements to programming, enhancing participation, team connection, and overall employee satisfaction. Collaboration with leadership and departmental partners to align communication and cultural programming plays a crucial role in sustaining a thriving and inclusive workplace.

This role demands a seasoned professional with over eight years of relevant experience in training, HR, event management, or culture building roles, along with proven experience in managing event logistics and cultivating impactful organizational culture. Candidates with backgrounds in healthcare or mission-driven organizations and familiarity with learning and development program design will find this position particularly rewarding. Flourish Health offers a supportive benefits package including 401(k) matching, home office stipend, paid time off, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, underscoring its commitment to employee well-being and professional growth.
