The Manager, Enterprise Events role at NorthBay Health is a dynamic and strategic position responsible for the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of a diverse portfolio of enterprise-level events that positively impact employee engagement, organizational culture, physician relationships, and brand visibility. This leadership role involves managing over 20 events annually, varying from intimate leadership meetings to large gatherings of up to 3,000 attendees. The events span multiple counties, demonstrating the broad scope and critical nature of the work in supporting the health system's growth and operational objectives.
This position requires an individual with strong project management skills, adept at coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging multiple stakeholders across various departments including Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Operations, and Foundation. The Manager will oversee all facets of event logistics, vendor relationships, budgeting, and operational planning to ensure high-quality and consistent delivery of events that are aligned with NorthBay Health’s brand and strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include developing scalable processes and utilizing technology tools such as Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Google Forms to manage complex event portfolios efficiently.
Ideal candidates will exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a results-oriented management style, and the ability to work independently while demonstrating initiative and follow-through. Experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings is preferred, alongside a background in event management, hospitality, or marketing. This role also demands flexibility to work primarily Monday through Friday with additional evening and weekend hours to accommodate event schedules.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, business, event management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field
- At least two years of experience leading or managing events, projects, or teams preferred
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, high-volume events and multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or corporate event settings preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with budget management and vendor contracts
- Proficiency in RSVP, registration, and event management software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Google Forms
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage competing priorities

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Lead planning and execution of enterprise and internal events that strengthen employee engagement, recognition, physician relationships, and organizational culture
- Own the annual enterprise events portfolio across Solano, Napa, and Yolo counties
- Develop event plans, timelines, run-of-show documents, and operational workflows
- Manage all event logistics including venue coordination, catering, rentals, audiovisual, decor, signage, transportation, and staffing
- Oversee on-site event execution to ensure smooth and professional experiences
- Manage vendor relationships including contracts, scheduling, and performance oversight
- Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure activities remain within approved parameters
- Partner with Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Operations, Foundation, Creative Services, and executive leadership
- Coordinate with facilities, IT, security, and clinical teams as needed
- Develop scalable processes, templates, and tools to support a growing event portfolio
- Provide event planning support for Foundation and donor events as needed
