The role of Manager of Employee Engagement at AEG is pivotal in enhancing employee experience and boosting engagement across the companys diverse operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Employee Engagement, this position works collaboratively with key departments such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Human Resources, Creative Services, Corporate Communications, and External Affairs to implement and evaluate comprehensive engagement programs. The primary focus is developing initiatives that improve employee retention, foster a sense of belonging, and establish effective communication channels between employees and management. This role is integral in supporting internal business lines with their communication needs and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Responsibilities include leading employee engagement activities like the AEG Service Awards, supporting internal and executive communications, and planning significant company events such as bi-annual company meetings and the AEG Connect Summit. The Manager of Employee Engagement will utilize data analytics to measure program effectiveness and guide continuous improvements. This role calls for strong leadership, coaching capabilities, and the ability to operate within a fast-paced, matrixed organization while driving strategic initiatives that shape company culture. The position offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $135,000 and eligibility for bonuses, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about creating positive workplace environments and meaningful employee experiences.

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years related work experience
  • experience leading, mentoring, and/or coaching teams preferred
  • experience in a large highly matrixed organization preferred
  • ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels
  • demonstrated experience in change management or project management
  • proficiency in managing corporate intranets and communications technologies
  • excellent public speaking and event planning skills
  • strong organization and time management
  • outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • demonstrated business acumen
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • deep knowledge in survey data analysis
  • ability to work in deadline-driven environments
  • skilled at building relationships across organizational levels

Job Duties

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive engagement programs aimed at increasing employee retention and fostering inclusion
  • partner with the Internal Communications Manager to support internal and executive communications and establish effective two-way communication channels
  • provide leadership, coaching, and development to staff
  • collaborate with leadership and departments like DEI, HR, and Corporate Communications to understand employee feedback and identify opportunities to enhance satisfaction and retention
  • utilize survey analytics to guide workplace interventions and deploy the Global MyVoice Engagement Survey
  • support planning, production, and execution of bi-annual company meetings and the AEG Connect Summit
