Job Description

On Location is a premier global leader specializing in premium experiential hospitality within the sports, entertainment, fashion, and culture spheres. The company excels in providing comprehensive ticketing services, curated guest experiences, live event production, and travel management. On Location is renowned for delivering unparalleled access to corporate clients and fans seeking official, immersive experiences at high-profile events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games, FIFA World Cup 2026, Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, UFC, WWE, and PGA of America events. As a subsidiary of TKO Group Holdings, Inc., listed on the NYSE as TKO, On Location benefits from the resources of a leading sports and entertainment conglomerate that owns iconic properties including UFC, WWE, and PBR. These brands collectively reach an audience of 1 billion households worldwide, spanning 210 countries and territories and hosting over 500 live events annually with more than three million attendees.

The Design Manager role at On Location is integral to supporting the "Core Team" across marquee sporting and entertainment events including NFL, NCAA, UFC, WWE, and PGA of America. This position involves overseeing and managing comprehensive project schedules and workflows for both full-time and freelance design staff. The role requires close collaboration between design and production teams to facilitate the efficient progression of projects throughout their entire lifecycle—starting from ideation and quoting, through design approvals, production, and culminating in installation. Candidates must be well-versed in managing the accuracy and organization of design assets and documentation using standardized file management systems and software tools. The position mandates a strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to company processes such as expense reporting, timekeeping, invoice processing, and contract management. The role is largely office-based with a minimum of four days required in-office attendance weekly and optional remote work on Fridays, alongside occasional travel commitments that constitute less than 10% of work time. Travel availability includes flexibility for extended hours during nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

This role suits highly organized, detail-oriented professionals with at least three years of experience in design, project, or event management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is required alongside strong interpersonal skills and exceptional time management capabilities. Experience with large-scale events or experiential marketing, understanding of fabrication and production processes, and basic Adobe Creative Cloud skills will be advantageous. Familiarity with platforms such as Smartsheet, FileMaker, and Hightail is preferred. The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $58,575 to $78,100, coupled with a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan. On Location upholds a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion as an Equal Opportunity Employer, ensuring fair employment practices regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or other protected statuses.
