The role of Food Service Manager at Aramark is a vital management position responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs and tastes of customers. This position oversees and manages daily dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu, ensuring a high-quality dining experience. In this capacity, the Food Service Manager maintains safety and sanitation standards across the operation while fostering a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees. Financial performance is a key focus, requiring the completion and maintenance of profit and loss statements, delivering on financial targets, and educating teams on performance metrics and operational levers to improve margins.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of experience in food service
  • minimum 1 year in a management or supervisory role
  • ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • proficiency in financial management and reporting
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures
