Job Description
GTE Financial is a well-established and respected credit union committed to providing exceptional financial services to its members and the community. With a strong focus on member satisfaction and community involvement, GTE Financial continues to expand its reach and deepen its relationships with members. As an award-winning financial institution, GTE Financial prides itself on fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment where employees are encouraged to grow professionally and personally. The company emphasizes leadership, innovation, and community engagement as key drivers of its success and sustainability in the competitive financial industry. The organization is dedicated to maintaining high standards of service quality, operational excellence, and business growth, which align with its strategic plan and corporate goals.
The Community Financial Center Manager position at GTE Financial is a leadership role designed for a motivated, results-oriented professional who can oversee the growth and development of a Community Financial Center. This role centers on driving productivity and market growth through both inside operational excellence and outside sales and community outreach activities. The Manager is responsible for leading a team, fostering employee development, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both members and employees.
The ideal candidate will spend approximately 2 to 3 days per week engaging in outside sales and community outreach efforts, developing business within the local geographic area, and forming strong partnerships with community organizations. This role demands a strategic thinker who can execute local sales plans, analyze sales data, and implement action plans to meet and exceed sales goals. The Manager also monitors service quality levels through Google ratings and Member Pulse scores, aiming to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
In addition to sales and community engagement, the Manager oversees operational aspects of the branch, including loan documentation accuracy, adherence to branding standards, and compliance with federal laws such as the Bank Secrecy Act and the U.S. Patriot Act. They manage the overall financial center’s success, including sales, service, operational efficiencies, and team management responsibilities, including supervising the Assistant Branch Manager. The position requires someone who is a strong leader, capable of motivating their team to achieve peak performance while cultivating a sense of urgency and accountability.
Full-time hours are required, typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with additional hours as necessary to meet goals and objectives. GTE Financial offers flexible work arrangements, including in-office, hybrid, or remote work options, which may be adjusted by management with appropriate notice. The role requires obtaining and maintaining specific licenses such as a National Mortgage License System (NMLS) number and Florida Department of Financial Services Credit Life and Disability License.
Joining GTE Financial means being part of a dynamic, community-focused organization that values teamwork, leadership development, and member engagement. As an equal opportunity employer, GTE Financial is dedicated to providing an inclusive workplace where all employees have a chance to thrive and contribute to the credit union’s ongoing success.
