Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- minimum 6 years of project management experience required
- camp management experience preferred
- association experience preferred
- must possess highest ethics, tact, judgement and confidentiality regarding campers and volunteers with critical medical issues
- must possess high emotional intelligence and social skill dealing with families and sensitive medical conditions
- consider and respond appropriately to the needs and feelings of others
- treat others equitably
- ability to apply effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication methods
- possess organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
- develop plans to accomplish work objectives or organizational goals
- arrange and assign work resources effectively
- able to think innovatively and apply thoughts to fundamental concepts
- takes prompt action to accomplish objectives with minimal supervision
- excellent word processing and mail merge skills
- MS Office knowledge essential and database experience highly desirable
- able to operate standard office equipment, e.g., copiers, fax, etc.

Job Duties
- Manage Camp Discovery program and develop initiatives aligning with AAD mission
- manage marketing communications and collaborate with Communications department on recruitment
- oversee logistics including contracts, applications, supplies, and travel arrangements
- coordinate with medical directors to ensure camper health and safety
- lead staff visits and supervise volunteer staff
- standardize operations and branding across camp locations
- engage camp volunteers through communication and feedback sessions
