Job Requirements
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in food service or hospitality management or related discipline
- 3-5 years of banquet or event management experience
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work 10-12 hours per day and about 50 hours per week
- Experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Visio
- Familiarity with Homebase, Honeybook, and Canva
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in food service or hospitality management or related discipline
- 3-5 years of banquet or event management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Visio
- Experience with Homebase, Honeybook, and Canva
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage and train staff
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Calling potential clients
- Providing tours of the facility
- Creating event proposals
- Coordinating banquet staff of 20-25 members
- Coordinating entertainment and audio/visual equipment needs
- Ensuring client satisfaction through superior customer service
- Assisting other departments when needed
