Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is currently seeking a Manager 2 - Liaison Engineering to join their Palmdale, CA team in a 4/10 Monday-Thursday first shift schedule. This is a critical leadership role within the Palmdale Aircraft Integration Center of Excellence (PAICoE) Advanced Programs. The position involves managing the Liaison Engineering section that oversees nonconforming metallic and composite parts and assemblies disposition for advanced aerospace programs. The Manager will lead a team of Liaison Engineers and devote approximately 15% of their time to recruiting, staffing, talent retention, conducting weekly and bi-weekly meetings, and performing performance reviews. The role requires close collaboration with Vehicle Engineering leadership and participation in the Northrop Grumman Liaison Engineering Community of Practice.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with expertise in Liaison Engineering and Material Review Board (MRB) processes, ideally recognized as a Subject Matter Expert. This role demands a US Government Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance, essential for handling sensitive information. Compensation for this position ranges from $161,100 to $241,700 annually, dependent on experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Additionally, employees may receive overtime pay, shift differentials, discretionary bonuses, and participate in long-term incentive programs if in senior roles.
