Job Description

Chili's is a well-established casual dining restaurant chain that originated in Dallas, Texas in 1975. As a prominent player in the casual dining industry, Chili's has carved a niche for itself with its signature Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, sizzling fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas. The brand's legacy is built on a foundation of exceptional service, hospitality, and a commitment to giving back to the community. Through its passionate team and vibrant culture, Chili's continually strives to provide an unparalleled dining experience to every Guest, every single day. This particular location is independently owned and operated by a franchise owner, which means benefits may vary locally, and they encourage potential candidates to visit the restaurant directly to apply for positions. The restaurant's culture emphasizes hospitality, fun, and teamwork, making it an exciting workplace for those who thrive in dynamic, people-focused environments.

The role of a Manager at Chili's is integral to the successful operation of the restaurant and delivering exceptional Guest experiences. Managers at Chili's are more than just supervisors; they are leaders and motivators who nurture connections with both Team Members and Guests. With a focus on collaboration and a win-together mindset, Managers are recognized for their enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to go the extra mile. This position demands someone with a passion for hospitality, who understands the importance of creating memorable experiences and leading by example.

Managers at Chili's are responsible for overseeing daily operations in a fast-paced, energetic environment. They lead a team of Management staff by scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and setting clear expectations, ensuring that every Team Member is accountable and performing to Chili's high operational and quality standards. They take charge of managing performance through evaluations and coaching to foster growth and accountability within their teams. Financial acumen is also critical, as Managers plan and implement weekly, monthly, and annual budgets, working diligently to control costs while driving business results.

The role requires strong communication skills to maintain open dialogue between Team Members and Management, champion change, and support new initiatives within the restaurant. Hiring, training, retaining, and developing Team Members for advancement are essential responsibilities to ensure operational excellence and career growth. Furthermore, Managers take a hands-on approach to drive Guest engagement, enhance satisfaction, and build positive relationships within the local community.

Safety and quality are paramount at Chili's. Managers must ensure that all team members adhere to safe food handling procedures and operational systems, including performing quality line checks and following the established Manager Timeline. Embracing Chili's culture and core values—Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable, and Play Restaurant—helps foster a positive work environment and a memorable experience for Guests. This management role is suited for dependable team players who excel in multitasking, enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, and are eager to lead with a people-first approach. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a thriving restaurant known not only for its iconic menu but also for its vibrant culture and commitment to excellence.
