Job Description
On the Go is a leading hospitality company that specializes in enhancing the dining and retail experience for travelers. With a footprint of over 300 unique dining and retail locations across some of North America's busiest airports, including Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), On the Go prides itself on world-class hospitality, award-winning dining concepts, and innovative technology integration. The company is driven by a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences and ensures that its incredible team members, known as Crewmembers, are at the heart of its operations. By investing in teams and fostering an engaging, fast-paced environment, On the Go offers employees opportunities for growth and development while creating an inclusive workplace where people can shine.
The Manager role at On the Go is a critical position that powers day-to-day operations and drives operational excellence across a wide variety of concepts ranging from quick service restaurants (QSR) to full-service dining and retail outlets. Reporting directly to senior management, the Manager will be based at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and will be responsible for leading and supporting a diverse team of Crewmembers to deliver sharp, high-energy, and exceptional service at every shift.
This position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $60,000 to $65,000 annually. As an On the Go Manager, you will lead daily operations ensuring smooth, efficient functioning of all retail and dining locations under your oversight. Elevating the quality and presentation of food and beverage products to meet On the Go's high standards is a central responsibility. You will own staffing and scheduling, ensuring that every shift is fully supported with the right talent to maintain top-tier service.
A critical part of the role includes driving an outstanding onboarding and training experience to set new Crewmembers up for success while fostering a positive and uplifting workplace culture where employees feel supported, respected, and motivated. Safety is paramount, and the Manager will champion safety protocols ensuring a hazard-free environment and full compliance with OTG policies and workplace laws. The role also involves proactive management and response to audits such as Coyle and NSF audits by leading corrective actions with urgency and accountability.
Clear communication of company policies using authoritative tools like the Crewmember Handbook and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) helps to maintain consistency and understanding across the entire team. This role requires flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and in challenging weather conditions. Candidates with experience managing multiple units or locations bring an added advantage.
On the Go is dedicated to fostering a culture that values care, continuous improvement, quality, and teamwork. The company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer where all qualified applicants will receive consideration without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability. By joining On the Go as a Manager, you become part of a commitment to excellence in hospitality where delivering exceptional guest experiences is a shared mission and where your leadership can make a significant impact.
